The facility is pretty big in size compares to others I have been to in the past. The doctors are super nice and soft spoken, and they definitely make my experience less stressful. They are very patient with my questions too and they often initiate the explanations without me asking. This was my first time here, I had just recently moved to the Old Town area so have procrastinated a lot in finding a new dentist. I found this one with a simple search on my insurance website, and I’m glad I found it. This is not only walkable from anywhere in Old Town proper, but the service and friendliness of the staff is impeccable. As some people might agree, going to the dentist is not an activity that I always look forward too, but the cleaning was gentle but affective and made easy by how kind the staff at the front and the doctors were. I am not all knowing or even close to it when it comes to dental equipment but it would seem that everything in this office is new and updated. The cleaning was quick! I walked here but the parking situation looked very easy, there were many street parking spots open when I came at 4pm on a Tuesday. But I did not look for a parking lot. If you’re looking for a dentist in the Old Town Alexandria area, this is a great option if it is in your network! More

I am so pleased that I chose Nova Dental Partners in Woodbridge. It was close and easy to get to and the staff and especially the dentist Dr. Tavakkoli was so very nice, respectful, and understanding about the dental procedures that I would need. His caring chairside manner as well as the hygienist and dental assistant that took care of me made me feel welcomed and happy that I chose this practice to come to. When you get older you become embarrassed about the years that you've neglected your dental care. But this practice as well as the entire staff were so accommodating and wonderful. Dr. Pashmini is amazing! I visited Nova Dental on Monday after my 4 year old bond (from a different location) popped off of my tooth over the weekend. I already had a crown appointment scheduled for a week later, so we just moved the date up and decided it was best to put the temporary crown on that day. I am terrible with needles, and the drilling is obviously terrifying, but the team was incredible! They made me feel completely comfortable during the entire process. The people you hire are a reflection of your practice. Your employees showed no sense of urgency given my dire circumstances which gives of the impression that this practice does not care about who walks in their doors. It serves as a clear reflection of how employees are trained to treat people in that way. Humma, the office manager was very rude and insensitive to my situation. There was an accident and I was running late and when I called to let them know, Humma said there was nothing she could do for me and that I would have to schedule for another day. I explained to her it was an emergency and I haven't been able to eat and can barely speak due the infection in my wisdom tooth and she kept cutting me off. She told me there was no room for me and that they already took two emergencies in. Finally, I called the Woodbridge location and they scheduled me within the next 15 min at the Fairfax location. Once I got there, Humma tossed the clipboard at me and told me to fill it out and that it would be an hour and half wait... she then proceeded to call two patients and asked if they could come early since they have free time, but you told me there were no time slots available. I have been coming here for about a year now and I see Dr. Choi. The staff is very kind and they are all great at what they do. I had a procedure done today that I was very nervous about and I felt like they really took my concerns into consideration and did what they could to make me more comfortable. The receptionist is also very nice and easy to work with when making appointments or explaining costs. I generally hate going to the dentist (who doesn’t) but this place eases my feeling of dread because they’re great. More
